The Partner Schools program is in place for teachers and schools who access multiple hockey initiatives throughout the year.

There are Bronze, Silver and Gold Partner School status to achieve (see below). With increased involvement in hockey, comes further benefits and rewards to schools and students.

PARTNER SCHOOLS STATUS REQUIREMENTS & BENEFITS

Requirements:

  • Delivery of one hockey program throughout the year (Sporting Schools, Goldstix, Carnival attendance)
  • One Hockey WA School Ambassador
  • Submit information regarding hockey participation at school
  • Promote the sport of hockey to the school community

Benefits:

  • Hockey WA Bronze Partner School certificate
  • Acknowledgement on the Hockey WA website
  • Access to grassroots coaching manuals
  • Hockey WA merchandise giveaways
  • Access to Level 1 Coaching courses run by Hockey WA
  • Access to some coaching videos
  • Free participation for teachers at face-to-face professional learning run by Hockey WA/Hockey Australia
  • Access to the online professional learning platform ‘e-Train-U
  • An equipment replenishment gift to the school upon the completion of the yearly school participation survey
  • Ability to purchase discounted hockey equipment
  • Quarterly e-news communication
  • Program branding suite including logo

Requirements:

  • Minimum two Hockey WA School Ambassadors
  • Have hockey equipment at school and available for student use
  • Submit information regarding hockey participation at school
