The 2020 Open Indoor Championships kicked off this past saturday, in Wollongong NSW at the Illawarra Hockey Stadium.

Our Women’s team have proved too strong thus far, remaining unbeaten and have qualified for the semi final to be played on Tuesday 7th Jan at 5:00am AWST. Lauren Austin (7) , Anna Roberts, and Jade Vanderzwan (5) lead the goal scorers for WA, contributing to a 16 goal GD for our Women’s team who sit at the top of the table.

Our young Men’s team have found the competition to be challenging, giving their all and will only learn and develop from the challenges they have faced. The Mens team will play on Tuesday, 7th Jan at 7:00am AWST for the 5th/6th classification. Ashley Ranford leads the WA goal scorers; a massive effort with 5 out of the team total of 17 goals.

We wish the best of luck to both teams for the upcoming Finals Day!
