About Us
Fremantle Cockburn Hockey Club is a welcoming, family-oriented club with a proud tradition of community spirit and inclusivity. After a successful season, we’re thrilled to announce our recent promotion to the Premier 2 league. We're on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Head Coach to lead our Senior Women’s teams to new heights and help shape the future success of our club.
Position Overview
We’re seeking a coach who can bring expertise, commitment, and a strategic vision to our Senior Women’s teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in coaching senior women’s field hockey, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills to foster a competitive and supportive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
• Coaching & Development: Demonstrated experience in coaching senior women’s teams, including tactical knowledge and player skill development.
• Leadership: Ability to inspire and guide players, manage team dynamics, and make strategic in-game adjustments.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of modern field hockey strategies, game analysis tools, and performance improvement techniques.
• Communication: Effective communicator with players, staff, and club stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
• Player Growth & Wellbeing: Committed to supporting players' skill progression, resilience, and career development on and off the field.
• Match Preparation: Skilled in planning for matches, analysing opponents, and setting up strategies for optimal performance.
• Organisation & Administration: Competent in managing training schedules, team arrangements, and administrative responsibilities.
Essential Criteria
• Relevant coaching credentials, ideally National or International Coaching Certificates.
• Current Working with Children Certification.
• Track record of successfully developing players’ tactical and technical abilities.
• Experience in team management, player selection, and creating a positive, winning environment.
• Availability to commit to the full season schedule, including weekend matches, training sessions, and club events.

Mods-OGM Hockey Club commenced an exciting journey in 2024 bringing together two of Australia most historical clubs. With over 850 members and 50 teams we are excited about our clubs future and are looking for a Premier 1 Mens side to join us on this journey for season 2025.
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated Premier 1 Men's Coach to lead our young talented men's squads. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the team's performance, development, and competitive success.
