Hockey WA are proud to deliver the second edition of the Future Thundersticks Classic Event for our budding young athletes.

The Future Thundersticks Classic will provide high-level tournament competition play for Western Australia's most talented young players, helping their development in lieu of cancelled National Championships due to COVID-19.

The second edition will be made up of four boys and four girls teams comprising of the two Hockey WA Under 13 State teams and teams from the Perth Thundersticks 14s Academy. Inspiration has been taken from the Ric Charlesworth Classic, with the Academy teams named after the Breakers and Highlanders, and the State teams wearing their traditiional names of the Storm and Lightning.

The Future Thundersticks Classic begins Sunday 14th November at Perth Hockey Stadium at Curtin University, with the tournament continuing on Saturday 20th November and culminating on Sunday 21st November.
