Hockey WA are now taking nominations for players wishing to be considered for the 2022 U15 State Field Team MALE and/or the 2022 U14s/15s Perth Thunderstick Academy Program.

These trials will be used to select two male teams that will represent WA at the U15 Australian Championships to be held in Newcastle, NSW from 5th to 14th April 2022, as well as for the 2022 Thunderstick Academy Program. 

The competition is an Under 15 junior competition, therefore, any athlete born 2007 & 2008 is eligible to nominate for U15 State Field Team.

Following Trial 2, numbers will be reduced and attendnace to Trial 3 is by selection only. Athletes will be notified of their progression via the Hockey WA website.

Players are expected to attend all subsequent trials and training sessions, should they be successful in progressing through the selection process. Training for the squads is planned to commence week of 14th Feb 2022. As with State Team programs funding is user pays and athletes families acknowledge that they have the financial capacity to meet these costs.
