Hockey WA are now taking nominations for players wishing to be considered for the 2022 U18 State Field Team MALE and/or the 2022 16s/17s Perth Thunderstick Program.

These trials will be used to select two male teams that will represent WA at the U18 Australian Championships to be held in Cairns, from 4th to 15th April 2022. 

This is a U18 junior competition, therefore any athlete born 2004, 2005 & 2006 is eligible to nominate for U18 State Field Team. 

Trial dates, times and venue below:

Trial times will be allocated to nominated athletes and communicated via email.

Following trial 2, numbers reduced and attendance to Trial 3 will be from selection only. Athletes will be notified of their progression via the Hockey WA website.

Players are expected to attend all subsequent trials and training sessions, should they be successful in progressing through the selection process. Training is planned to commence the week of the 14th Feb 2022.  As with all State Team programs funding is user pays and athletes families acknowledge that they have the financial capacity to meet these costs.
