Technical Officials (TO) are integral to the management and coordination of hockey. The role of a TO can vary all the way from being a judge for a game through to a tournament director.
Regardless of the role, TOs are vital to hockey's functioning.
Well now you can by registering to take part in Hockey WA’s Level 1/Level 2 Technical Official Course for new officials or those wishing to refresh their skills.
The Level 1/2 TO Workshop is designed to train officials in the fundamental concepts of judging hockey games, advanced concepts of technical officiating, as well as how their role functions within a tournament setting and covering the role of tournament directing and higher level officiating duties.
Participants will be required to undertake practical assessments from an approved Hockey WA assessor.
The Level 1/2 TO Workshop will run for a total duration of approx. 3 hours, with full details below:
