The 2023 National Country Championships will be held in Shepparton, Victoria from 5 to 12 August 2023 as the best regional hockey talent comes together for a week of competition.

Nominations are now open for players to be considered for the 2023 WA State Country Men's and Women's Teams. The player eligibility will be at the discretion of the Hockey WA staff. 

Selection Events

The 2023 Hockey WA CBH State Country Championships at the Perth Hockey Stadium will be the selection events for these teams.

Women - Friday 16 June 2023 to Sunday 18 June 2023.

Men - Friday 23 June 2023 to Sunday 25 June 2023.

Additional trials may be held after the initial squads are named. There will be a  preparation program when the teams are selected.  

Players unable to attend the selection events through injury or other valid reason that want to be considered for selection are still encouraged to nominate however they will need to provide proof of the reason and make a case for exemption. All such cases are to be made to:
