Hockey WA are delighted to offer a HockeyEd Foundation Lead Coach Education Program at the Melville Toyota Stadium

• The program is directed towards teachers, parents, players and coaches who are involved in coaching club hockey and developing the performance of individual athletes
• The program covers all basic technical skills as well as using these skills to create a fun, safe and engaging hockey environment through small sided games for juniors and seniors. 

To attend the course you must do the following before the coaching course:

1. Register for the course in this portal and pay the $40.00 fee

2. Register online with Hockey Australia. See info below. 

FOUNDATION LEAD COACH

For the Foundation Lead Coach Workshop there is also an online element, there is a fee of $50,

To be able to enrol in the Foundation Lead Coach, you will need to complete this online theory first.

NEXT STEP:

Once this is complete, and have registered with Hockey Australia and paid you $50.00 fees, you can then register into the course at

Hockey Australia under the Hockey Ed platform. See directions below. 

Note: You will also receive this message in registration email. 

1. You will need to log in through Hockey WA website- at the top right of the webpage.
2. Once logged in, from your HWA member number/account- press on the Person symbol that takes you to your Personal page.
3. Click on Hockey Ed Login – this will open your “Hockey Australia Etrainu “page.
4. Click on Training Event on the menu on left column.
5. Select the date Wednesday 27th March,  on listed events- Foundation Lead Coaching Course- Perth WA
6. Press the enrol button at the bottom right-hand side of the page.
7. Select the Course- Then press “Enrol.

Coaching Investment 

PRESENTER COST of $40.00 per person. This is in addition to the $50.00 Hockey Australia Online Course fee.

Total = $90.00. We encourage the club to pay a component of this.
