In February 2025 Hockey WA will commence the Under 18 Emerging Thundersticks Program and the preparations for the 2025 Under 18 National Championships to be held in Perth from 4 to 12 July 2025.

The 2025 State Under 18 mens and womens teams trials will be held in April 2025. Further details will be confirmed during the Under 18 Emerging Thundersticks program.

Player Eligibility 

In 2025 those athletes who will be interested in the selection trials to represent WA in the 2025 Outdoor Under 18 State boys and girls teams are eligible to participate in this program.  

Goalkeeper training will be incorporated into training sessions. The training for goalkeepers during these sessions will foucs on repetitive efforts and developing their first touch and clearance work.

1 session a week for 4 weeks training - $150
