In March 2025 the Perth Thundersticks Academy will offer a series of 6 week training programs to prepare players for the upcoming season and WA State team selection trials.

The Academy South Hub 1 is is targeted for the development of athletes in the south region of the Perth Metropolitan areas and it will be based at the Lakelands turf which is the home of the Fremantle Cockburn Hockey Club. 

This training program is open to anyone wanting to develop their skills outside the club development programs and it will run for six weeks on Wednesday mornings in March and April 2025.
