Designed to train umpires in the fundamental concepts of umpiring including fitness, positioning, signals and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of players, the upcoming program is being held at Perth Hockey Stadium and will coincide with the CBH Group Men’s & Women’s Country Championships 2020.

The program is directed towards parents, players and umpires who are involved in umpiring club hockey, Intra-state Championships and low level National Championships.

All participants must:

1. Register with HockeyEd and enrol for the Level 1 Umpiring Course ($50) 
2. Complete training program involving an online learning session, an applied learning quiz, a practical course and a practical evaluation
3. Pay the $25 HWA fee and attend the L1 Umpire Workshop on 25th September

Once all components have been completed and your certificates have been uploaded to the HockeyED system, participants can be signed off by Hockey WA and will then be able to download an Accreditation Certificate.
