Hockeyroos and Kookaburras set for international clash against India and Malaysia

Australia’s elite men’s and women’s hockey teams are set to light up Perth Hockey Stadium this from 26 April to 4 May as the Hockeyroos, Kookaburras and Australia A sides take on India and Malaysia in an exciting International Practice Match Series. 

The series marks a crucial tune-up for Australia's top sides ahead of their European tour for the FIH Pro League in June, giving players a valuable opportunity experience high level play against top international competition. 

Fans in Western Australia will be afforded the opportunity to see international-level hockey up close and personal, with all fixtures free to attend for patrons. 

Adding to the excitement, the Indian community of Western Australia will be at the forefront on May 3 and 4, with a vibrant cultural activation on offer, supported by the Australian Indian Business Association (AIBA) and Gujarati Samaj of Western Australia GSWA. Attendees can enjoy live dance performances, family-friendly activities, and an array of delicious food stalls showcasing the rich flavours of Indian cuisine - a celebration of the strong ties between Western Australia and the Indian community.
