2020 CBH Group Men's and Women's Country Champs Results

Published Tue 29 Sep 2020

Hockey WA extends an enormous thank you to our major partner CBH Group. The CBH Group have a long history of supporting rural Western Australia through various community projects and is proud to be part of a strong social fabric that binds rural communities together and helps them grow; and since 2004 have contributed over a quarter of a million dollars into regional hockey.  To Just Hockey, The Department of Local Government Sport and cultural Industries and Healthway promoting the Smarter than Smoking message, without the support of these major partners, the CBH Group Men’s and Women’s State Country Championships won’t have been possible.

“The effects of Covid have been felt by everyone, not least our regional associations. Our regional members worked tirelessly in establishing some level of competition in what has been really testing times and for Hockey WA be able to provide this opportunity to you was a fitting tribute to the many thousands of volunteers throughout our regional network who have not only kept our sport relevant, but  ensure it continues to thrive” said Stu Gilsenan, CEO.

Hockey WA wish to make special mention to the Karratha Hockey Association who in 2020 made their women’s debut with the Pilbara Krocs. The dedication of president Steve Knight and his committee has seen some significant growth in the Pilbara.

Covid has unfortunately meant many interruptions to the 2020 season, however in recognition of the outstanding performances seen over the weekend Hockey WA are pleased to announce the 2020 Men’s and Women’s Country All Star teams:
