2022 WA Country Women's Team – Coach Appointment

This weekend the Perth Hockey Stadium hosts regional players and teams for the 2022 CBH Group Women's Country Championships.  

Hockey WA will use these championships to select the WA Country Women's Team, who will compete in the 2022 Australian Country Challenge to be held in Albany from 6 to 13 August 2022.

Hockey WA is excited to announce that the head coach of the 2022 WA Country Women's Team is Tenille Yandle.

Tenille has plenty of experience in the WA Country women's program and she is well credentialled as a player and coach.

In 2018 and 2019, Tenille coached the WA Country Women's Team and was a player for a number of years prior and in 2019, Tenille was an assistant coach for the Australian Under-21 Country Team.

In 2019 and 2020 Tenille coached the Greater Wheatbelt Men's Team and is currently supporting the KK Vipers Men's Team.

Tenille has also coached the Modernians Hockey Club Women's Promotion 2 Team in Perth and the Roe Districts Women's Country Championships side.
