2025 WA Country Team nominations open

Hockey WA is now taking nominations for players wishing to be considered for selection in the 2025 WA Country teams.
The 2025 Hockey Australia Country Championships are set to take place in Rockhampton, QLD from Saturday 9 August to Saturday 16 August, showcasing the finest regional hockey talent by bringing together the best players from across the country for a week of intense competition.
The official selection trials for the WA Country teams will be held during the 2025 CBH Group Country Championships, taking place at Perth Hockey Stadium on the following dates:
Women: Friday 13 June to Sunday 15 June
Men: Friday 20 June to Sunday 22 June
Additional trials may be held after the initial squads are named.
Players unable to attend the selection events due to injury or other valid reasons may still be considered, provided they submit proof of their circumstances and apply for an exemption.
All exemption requests should be directed to Hockey WA Performance & Pathways Coordinator Ian Healey via email.
Players interested in being considered for selection must submit their nominations by 5.00pm on Friday 30 May.
