BASC Conference 2021

During COVID, sport has demonstrated its important role in community spirit, inspiration and innovation. In spite of the setbacks, coaches and athletes at all sporting levels still seek progress. High performance sport sets a standard to aspire and has lessons and guidance for all.

The purpose of the conference, and BASC, is to bring coaches together, to share knowledge and develop stronger relationships, so that we can improve our delivery to the athletes, teams and clubs we work with. In this special one day event, our presenters will take you behind the curtain of elite sport - managerial, rehab, psychology and physical preparation - to highlight the critical elements for any level of sport so that you can elevate your coaching delivery.

Held on Saturday 23rd October at the WA Institute of Sport, presenters include West Coast Eagles High Performance Manager, Glenn Stewart, Kookaburras Strength and Conditioning Coach Brendyn Appleby, Tokyo medalists - Kookaburra Daniel Beale and WAIS Swimmer Tamsin Cook, plus more.
