Bruce Rock-ed in CSBP Wheatbelt Schools Carnival

Published Fri 20 Aug 2021

School kids in Bruce Rock were treated to a festival of hockey in the CSBP Wheatbelt Schools Carnival, delivering a day of hockey action and driving participation in the sport, exposing hockey to the next generation of athletes in the region.

A total of eight teams across a girls and boys division saw teams from Bruce Rock, Narembeen and Corrigin compete across the day, with close to 100 students partaking in the competition, with key Hockey WA and CSBP officials providing fun and games inbetween competition play.

Healthy Halftimes activation were also on display, with competitions for the students providing fun, as well as ensuring the young athletes chose the right Fuel To Go & Play to ensure they were the best they could be - on and off the field!

Corrigin were the big winners on the day, securing the competition wins in both the boys and girls divisions.

Thanks goes to CSBP for their support on a fantastic initiative. Visit CSBP’s website here.
