Eastern Goldfields was able to cement its spot atop the ladder with a victory over Geraldton early in the day, with Upper Great Southern then securing second spot after its win over Lower Great Southern.

The first semi-final was played between first and fourth places on the ladder, with Lower Great Southern able to turn on the burners at the right time and win their first match for the tournament, securing themselves a spot in the grand final.

Semi-final two did not disappoint, with a second-placed Upper Great Southern losing to Geraldton, a side which had only come away victorious just once over the two days.
