Congratulations Fabian Ross

The Board of Hockey WA wishes to congratulate Hockey WA CEO Fabian Ross for his inclusion in Business News’ Power 500 publication for 2022.

The Power 500 acknowledges and highlights a who’s who of Western Australian executives and leaders across a range of industries and businesses, including Premier Mark McGowan, City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas and Minister for Health and Mental Health Amber-Jade Sanderson.

Mr Ross, a former financial-services executive, is one of just a handful of WA-based sporting CEOs to be included in the list.

“It reflects wonderfully on Hockey WA to attract a leader who can be included in an illustrious list such as Business News’ Power 500,” Hockey WA Board Member Gary McGrath said.

“We are in exciting new territory at Hockey WA, and well placed to continue to grow the game.

“It’s great for our CEO to be acknowledged publicly. On behalf of the Board of Hockey WA, congratulations Fabian.”

Hockey WA CEO Fabian Ross also acknowledged the work of past and present board members of Hockey WA on receiving the worthy inclusion.

"Hockey WA would also like to acknowledge Gary McGrath for being named - it is great that hockey can attract quality people with Gary’s background to our board," Ross said.

"We would also like to congratulate our immediate past president Michael Henderson for this significant achievement."
