Fuel To Go & Play Busselton Goldstix Carnival - nominations open

The Fuel to Go & Play Goldstix Carnival in the South West is back - BIGGER and BETTER - in 2023!

This year's carnival will be held in Busselton at the Busselton Hockey Stadium on Sunday 6 August 2023.

The Fuel to Go & Play Goldstix Carnival will be based on small-sided games that focus on fun and maximum participation for all!

Event categories

1. Years 1-2 (5-a-side)
2. Years 3-4 Gold: Players/ teams who are new to the game of hockey (7-a-side)
3. Years 3-4 Black: Players/ teams with 1-2 years’ experience (7-a-side)
4. Years 5-6 (mixed 7-a-side + optional GK)

Event information

• Games will run at for 15 minutes with 5 minutes between games (start / finish time subject to fixturing).
• All clubs are encouraged to set up tents and displays with team colours and face painting!
• Each team must have a guide / umpire for all games.
• The Fuel to Go & Play Goldstix Carnival is open to all Hockey WA affiliated clubs and associations. Payment ($75 per team) is made in the online portal.
• Fixtures will be emailed to the team contact in the week before the Fuel to Go & Play Goldstix Carnival. Every effort will be made to ensure that these do not change.
• NO DOGS ALLOWED AT THE VENUE
