Fuel to Go & Play Girls J9/10 Club Championships wrap

The talents of Western Australia’s junior hockey clubs continue to be on full display as the Fuel to Go & Play Club Championships roll on.
Teams from across Western Australia converged on Perth Hockey Stadium as the Girls J9/10 Fuel to Go & Play Club Championships took place from Monday 8 July to Wednesday 10 July.
A total of 12 teams competed in pool matches throughout the opening day before being split into two divisions based on their pool match performance.
In Division 1, Victoria Park held off a determined Bunbury side to claim the Championship 2-0 in a solid contest.
Victoria Park pulled off a perfect competition run, winning all of their matches throughout the three-day tournament.
Bunbury also charged through the competition undefeated but ultimately fell short against Victoria Park.
The Division 2 Grand Final saw YMCC prove just a little bit too good for Busselton, running out 3-0 winners to claim the Championship.
The Fuel to Go & Play Club Championships continues with the Boys J9/10 Championships from Wednesday 10 July to Friday 12 July.
