Fuel To Go & Play J7/8, J11/12 Club Championships wraps up in scintillating finals day

The Fuel To Go & Play J7/8 Girls and J11/12 Club Championships has wrapped up at Perth Hockey Stadium, Bateau Turf Lakelands and pulse Stadium, with junior hockey stars from across the state competing in a thrilling finals day.

YMCC were crowned champions of the J7/8 Girls Division One, defeating the School Sport WA side 2-0 in a strong Grand Final performance.

YMCC were dominant in the division, only conceding the one goal with a goal difference of 18, winning all seven matches they competed in.

In Division Two, it was a battle of the regions, with Eastern Goldfields coming out on top in their Grand Final against Busselton, claiming a 3-1 victory.

In the Division Three, comprising of four regional sides, Roe Districts claimed the bragging rights in a 3-1 Grand Final victory over Lower great Southern.

In the Fuel To Go & Play J11/12 Club Championships, Eastern Goldfields claimed the title in a 2-0 victory over Geraldton at pulse Stadium.

Eastern Goldfields drew level and lost 4-0 in the pool matches to Geraldton, but performed on the big stage to win in a strong performance.

Victoria Park’s two sides in the Mixed Division went head-to-head in the Grand Final, with the Victoria Park Black side defeating Orange 3-0.
