Published Fri 04 Oct 2024

Before the 2024 Indoor season officially kicks off, junior clubs across WA showcased their skills in the Fuel to Go & Play Junior Indoor Club Championships.

Teams converged on Mundaring Arena as the Under-15 Girls and Boys competitions took place from Thursday 3 October to Friday 4 September.

In the Under-15 Girls competition, teams competed in a round-robin tournament, playing each team once before the top two teams competed in the Grand Final.

The Under-15 Girls Grand Final saw Reds 1 take on WASPS, where Reds 1 defeated WASPS in a close contest.

Reds 1 edged out WASPS 3-2 to cap off a dominant tournament run without dropping a single game.

In the Under-15 Boys competition, teams were split into two divisions, where they competed in a round-robin tournament playing each team once before competing in a series of finals matches.

In Division 1, Reds 1 put on a dominant showing against Victoria Park, defeating them 6-0 to pull off a perfect tournament run.

The Division 2 Grand Final was a hot contest with Melville 2 and WASPS very evenly matched, forcing the final into one-on-ones after drawing at 1-1.

However, WASPS held strong to edge out Melville 2-1 to get the chocolates.
