Game On: 2025 Stiles Electrical Premier League ready to ignite!

The stage is set for another electrifying season of elite hockey as the 2025 Stiles Electrical Premier League brings together the nation’s top talent for an action-packed competition.

Once again, both the Men’s and Women’s Premier League competitions will feature 22 rounds, promising months of high-intensity matchups and top-tier hockey.

Adding to the excitement, two gala rounds will take place in late March, setting the scene for an official season launch in April.

Fans can expect a season filled with fierce rivalries, breakout stars and high stakes clashes that will shape the road to finals.

Men’s

The battle for supremacy continues in the Men’s competition, with 12 powerhouse teams returning to the field: reigning premiers UWA, Fremantle Cockburn, Hale, Melville, Mods-OGM, North Coast Raiders, Reds, Victoria Park Xavier, WASPS, Westside Wolves, Whitford, and YMCC.

Women’s

The Women’s competition expands in 2025, now featuring 11 teams with the promotion of YMCC following their dominant 2024 campaign that saw them storm through Premier League Division 2 to reach the Grand Final.

YMCC player Sophie Wainwright said the team is fired up for their Stiles Electrical Premier League debut.

“It feels like we’ve been waiting a long time for this promotion, and we’ve worked so hard building our squad and developing our juniors to get here,” she said.

“We’ve had a couple of scratch matches and we’ve been pretty competitive which is really exciting and it gives us confidence going into the season.

“We’re just going to try and play our game and hopefully do well.”

Joining them in the race for the title are reigning premiers Westside Wolves, Hale, Melville, North Coast Raiders, Reds, Suburban Lions, UWA, Victoria Park Xavier, WASPS, and Whitford.
