Hockey WA Carpark Closure

The Hockey WA carpark, including sections of the adjoining Curtin University carpark, will be closed to all traffic from 12pm Sunday 1 September until the end of Friday 6 September.

The carpark will be closed due to requirements for the new stadium build at Perth Hockey Stadium, with geotechnical investigation work to be undertaken.

The decision to close the carpark at this time has been made by Curtin University, to coincide with the university’s tuition free week during this period.

The red, highlighted areas in the below map indicate the parking areas that will be closed off.

If you are visiting Perth Hockey Stadium during this time, you must park in the green highlighted areas surrounding the closed off parking.

You will be required to pay for parking using the CellOPark app during the day from Monday to Friday (evenings and weekends are free) – instructions outlined at the end of this notice.

The stadium gate on University Boulevard will be the only entry point to the stadium during this time.

It's free to register or use, but you’ll need to select a payment method to pay for your parking. This can be either direct debit via your credit/debit card or by using a pre-paid card, which you can get from either Curtin Stadium (Building 111) or the Parking Office (Building 115)

Using CellOPark

After registering with CellOPark, you can park, check to see when your parking session expires, and then let CellOPark know when you're leaving. There are three easy ways to do this when you park at Curtin’s Perth campus:

1. Via the app: Open the CellOPark app, select your location, car park zone number, your vehicle registration number and then hit GO. Hit STOP when you leave.

2. From your mobile phone: Call the CellOPark number on
   6145 3333 and follow the prompts to start your session. Call again to end your parking time.

3. Via the website: Log in to your account via the CellOPark website, follow the prompts to start your session. Log in again online to end your parking time.
