Hockey WA Update | Club Songs

For many teams, one of the pleasures in celebrating a win is singing the club song – often with more exuberance than musicality. This is a great part of team sport and is certainly encouraged. 

However, it is important to remember that hockey is a family sport and inappropriate language should not be used or added into team songs at any time. Even if teams are celebrating in a private space, there is still a chance that language can be heard by others nearby.  

Therefore, Hockey WA would like to remind all clubs to ensure post-game songs remain family-friendly and appropriate at all times.
