Hockey WA COVID-19 Update I 2 May 2021

Published Sun 02 May 2021

Hockey WA advises its members that games will go ahead as scheduled today at this current stage, with masks to be worn by all spectators, inside and outside, per the State Government’s advice.

Players and Umpires are exempt from wearing a mask, but only during matches when undertaking vigorous exercise and must wear a mask before and after their match – coaches must wear a mask at all times.

This latest advice includes anyone who has been in the Perth or Peel regions since 17 April and is now in another region.

Maintaining a 1.5m physical distancing from others is also advised.

Updates will be given if any new restrictions are put in place by the WA State Government.

Hockey WA thanks its players, officials, members and stakeholders for your understanding.
