Hockey WA Gryphon Cup finale to reach eyeballs across the globe
Published Wed 23 Nov 2022
The final day of the Hockey WA Gryphon Cup, featuring teams from across Australia and around the world, will be live streamed to fans across the globe via streamer.com.au.
As part of Hockey WA’s partnership with Seven West Media, streamer.com.au will live stream the action from Perth Hockey Stadium at Curtin University’s PHS-1 this Sunday 27 November.
The action will feature teams fighting for pride and glory, culminating in two Grand Finals for the boys and girls competitions.
Fans will be able to watch all the action free of charge, with fan passes available to purchase, giving fans never-before-seen access to cut up their own highlights from matches and share them wherever they’d like.
“We are incredibly excited about streamer.com.au live streaming the final day of our Hockey WA Gryphon Cup and thank Seven West Media and streamer.com.au for their support,” Hockey WA General Manager Commercial Operations, Marketing and Media, Nicholas Janzen says.
“It’s great for sports fans as well as participants’ family and friends to be able to watch on not only across Australia but around the world too.”
Streamer operations manager Nick Rynne said it was great to be able to extend the partnership with Hockey WA and give players and families a chance to better interact with their own games.
“We’re always really pleased to work with Hockey WA as we try to change the local sport streaming game,” he said..
“One thing we’re very excited about is the chance to offer users access to a Digital Fan Pass which allows them to cut out their own highlights and share them wherever they’d like, while helping make it a viable exercise for the organisers going forward as well.”
