Minkey Education Session @ Victoria Park Xavier Hockey Club

Victoria Park Xavier Hockey Club is holding a Minkey Education Session to assist clubs in developing a large sub-junior presence!

This education session is FREE and all clubs are invited to attend.

Date: Saturday 12 August 2023

Time: 8.45am to 10.30am

Where: Fletcher Park Clubrooms, Carlisle.

Purpose: How to develop a large sub-junior presence in your hockey club

The session includes:

• • • • A tour of our sub-juniors at Fletcher park
      • The importance of the sub-junior in the membership of a club
      • How a sub-junior flows through our club
      • How do you increase sub-junior registrations?
      • How we do it
      • How do we compete with other sports?
      • Coaches and coordinators
      • Pre-primary and earlier age groups
      • Grade 1 and 2 Minkey
      • Grade 3 and 4 Grads
      • Transition into 5/6 Hockey.
      • Questions, mentoring and assistance.

This session is targeted at clubs with less than 100 sub-juniors and especially clubs with under 50 sub-juniors.
