Whitford remains in the search for their first win in the women’s competition, with North Coast Raiders cruising to a 2-0 win. 

Raiders’ Annie Gibbs scored late in the first half to head into the main break 1-0 up, with Siennah Cowles adding to the score late in the piece in the 56th minute to steer her side to a win. 

In the men’s competition, Curtin University fought until the very end against WASPs, but narrowly missed out on claiming a point with WASPs snatching a 2-1 win late in the match. 

WASPs’ Charlie McIntyre opened the scoring in the 18th minute, with the next score falling late in the match through Curtin University’s Ky Willott in the 52nd minute. 

With both sides sitting at 1-1 late in the match, WASPs’ Brandon Gibbs proved to be the difference, scoring in the 59th minute to snatch the points for his side in their third win of the season. 

In the women’s match between WASPs and Curtin University, WASPs were dominant in a 6-0 drubbing. 

The side showcased their ability to share the load, with six individual goal scorers highlighting a strong attacking effort. 

UWA claimed their third win of the season in the women’s competition, defeating Reds 3-1 at their home turf. 

UWA’s Lexie Pickering scored two in her first appearance for the season. 

Melville were at their brilliant best against Whitford in the men’s competition, claiming a powerful 7-1 victory at the Melville Toyota Stadium. 

Melville’s Jake and Ben Staines were red-hot in front of goal, with Jake scoring a hat-trick and Ben a double in the dominant victory for the side. 

UWA and Fremantle Cockburn competed in a hot contest in the men’s competition, with the sides finishing on level terms in a 2-2 result. 

Three scores fell in the first ten minutes of the match, with the Magpies’ Ehren Hazell scoring in the second minute, and UWA’s Harry Golding and Cam Geddes scoring in the fourth and ninth minutes respectively. 

Fremantle Cockburn’s Matthew Nelson secured a point for his side, scoring in the final quarter in the 46th minute. 

YMCC men claimed their third win on the trot in a 5-3 win over Westside Wolves. 

Both teams shared the load in the goal-fest, with eight individual goal scorers hitting the stat sheet. 

The men’s and women’s Victoria Park Xavier and Hale sides competed in a double-header at Perth Hockey Stadium at Curtin University, with Hale claiming the chocolates in two 1-0 wins. 

Hale’s Madonna Blyth and Liam Flynn were the lone scorers in their respective matches. 

Suburban Lions made it six wins from six matches in a 2-0 win over third-placed Westside Wolves in the women’s competition. 

Lions’ Pricilla Mateos and Georgina Dowd both scored to continue the Lions’ reign a the top of the women’s ladder. 

The final match of the round saw Old Guildfordians Mundaring put up a fight against Reds at their home turf, narrowly falling short in a 3-2 victory for last year’s Grand Finallists. 

Brodee Foster was the main man up front for Reds, scoring a hat-trick and the final goal of the match in the 58th minute to snatch the victory and the three points for his side.
