Hockey WA is heading to the Geraldton Hockey Association for the first of our Regional Roadshows for 2021!

Take your hockey to the next level - there's plenty to get involved with!

L1 Coach Course

• The program is directed towards teachers, parents, players and coaches who are involved in coaching modified versions of the game, club hockey and developing the performance of individual athletes.
• The program covers all basic technical skills as well as using these skills to create a fun, safe and engaging hockey environment through small sided games for juniors and seniors.

Development Clinics

Purpose

• Pre-season preparation for anyone aspiring to improve.
• Develop long term health and wellbeing through Physical Literacy initiatives.

Program Content

• The key focuses of the program are physical literacy, technical development and game sense through engaging small sided games.
• Athletes will train in groups of 10-12 (max) to maximise touches of the ball and skill development.

Program Structure

• Warm Up and Physical Literacy & Conditioning Development.
• Technical Skill Development.                                                    
• Small Sided Games with Technical Skill focuses.
• Small Sided Games.
• Warm Down and Debrief .

Goldstix U9 Fun Session (FREE)

Hockey WA's Regional Roadshow is giving all U9's a chance to play some Hockey WA 'Goldstix Games' for free!

The hour will be full of fun, skills and games with Hockey WA and regional coaches!

Bring down your hat, water bottle, stick, shinpads and mouthguard and don't forget to slip, slop, slap!

Goalkeeper Clinic

Hockey WA's Regional Roadshow is offering a 90 minute GK clinic for all GKs who are 11-18 Years of age.

Bring down your water bottle, a towel and your goalie kit for an afternoon of fun and development!
