Ric Charlesworth Classic Team Line-ups Revealed

Hockey WA’s newest endeavour, the Ric Charlesworth Classic, sees some of the best Hockey talent Western Australia has to offer come together for a multiple day tournament that aims to provide sport viewing of the highest quality.

The Tournament begins on Sunday the 25^th of October with games continuing on Tuesday the 27^th, Thursday the 29^th and Saturday the 31^st of October, with the tournament culminating in the Grand Finals to be held on Sunday the 1^st of November.

After an exciting draft process - the first of its kind conducted for a hockey tournament in Australia - the impressive coaching teams were rewarded with mouth-watering line-ups, full of some of our best and most promising players.

Jamie Dwyer – Olympic Gold Medallist and 5 time world player of the year and RCC Head Coach “I’m very excited about this competition and it’s a great initiative by Hockey WA. There are some great coaches, excellent players and I’m sure the games will be top quality and entertaining.”

Kate Starr – Dual Olympic Gold Medallist and Thundersticks Head Coach “With no Hockey ONE League or National Championships this year due to Covid-19, our coaches are really looking forward to working with the most talented players in WA and once again showcasing our sport.”
