From dominant wins to hot contests, round fifteen of the Stiles Electrical Premier League has brought plenty of excitement around the grounds.

Men’s

Reds have continued to build momentum as the Stiles Electrical Premier League goes into its mid-season break, defeating Whitford 3-1 at Aquinas College.

The home side made a hot start to the match with Brodee Foster scoring the first goal during the sixth minute.

As Whitford looked to respond, a penalty corner shot went begging as the Reds held the one-goal advantage at quarter time.

Whitford continued to fight back during the second term, with Fraser Heigh scoring off a penalty corner to bring the scores level.

However, Reds would respond with a field goal of their own via Brodee Foster to take back the lead by half time.

While the contest reached a stalemate during the third quarter, Reds came firing back during the final quarter.

Although several penalty corner opportunities went begging, a field goal via Adrian Lockley sealed the deal for the Reds.

Elsewhere, YMCC defeated Westside Wolves 3-0, Mods-OGM pulled off an upset 2-1 victory over Victoria Park, Fremantle Cockburn drew level with UWA 3-3, Hale beat out a slick Melville outfit 4-2, and WASPS proved too strong for North Coast Raiders 4-0.

Women’s

Hale have notched their second win on the trot after defeating a determined Melville outfit 3-0 at Melville Toyota Stadium.

As the Stiles Electrical Premier League approached its mid-season break, both Melville and Hale looked to go into the break on a high.

Hale were quick to fire, with Fiona Cock slotting in a field goal to give the visiting side the early lead.

As Melville looked to respond, Hale held strong to lead 1-0 at quarter time.

The second quarter saw Melville amp up the pressure in defence, with Camila Vaughan making some good deflections.

It wasn’t until the 26th minute that another goal would be scored, with Tyler Pedley scoring a field goal to lead 2-0 at half time.

Hale kept their composure throughout the third quarter, extending their lead even further with an Emily Chalker goal.

Although Melville continued to bring the fight throughout the final term, their efforts to score proved futile as Hale held strong to win 3-0.

Elsewhere, Victoria Park and North Coast Raiders drew at one goal apiece, Suburban Lions and UWA could not be separated at 0-0, the match-up between Reds and Whitford was postponed, and Westside Wolves defeated WASPS 2-0.
