Thundersticks academy treated to World-class experience

What an inspiring experience for our U15s Perth Thundersticks Academy cohort tlast weekend at their academy session!

Hockey WA Performance and Development Head Coach, Des King, delivered a World-class Olympic Review analysis, showcasing the key learning outcomes from Tokyo 2020.

Legendary FIH Master Coach, Terry Walsh, then presented a masterclass on the new Hockey WA Coach n Play online platform giving the players anytime/anywhere access to over 300 video-based technical and tactical learning modules.

Finally, the players were treated to a fantastic opportunity to hear from the Olympic experience of Athens Gold Medalist, Grant Schubert, who was kind enough to bring his medals along.

The U16s and U17s Perth Thundersticks Academy athletes were also treated to the same experience the following day, with Kookaburra champions Chris Ciriello joining the coaching team for the presentation.
