"Our Under 18 coaches Simon Andrew and Tim Geers have led the process with expertise and were well supported by their respective selection panels, who watched many hours of the players in action. The strength of both teams is reflected by the quality and potential of players who have missed selection this time, and we look forward to supporting the development of the broader group in the years ahead," King says.
To the selected players, congratulations on being chosen to represent WA at the upcoming National Championships. There are good signs in both teams of players committing to doing whatever they can for the team. We look forward to seeing you embrace the challenges that are a normal part of tournaments, and represent WA Hockey with pride in Launceston.”
Hockey WA would like to thank all the volunteers, coaches and selectors who have assisted with the Under 18 trials.
