Volunteer research participants wanted for La Trobe University study
Published Tue 22 Oct 2024
Please find below information on becoming a volunteer research participant for a study researchers at La Trobe University are conducting about injuries sustained in the 2024 winter season.
Dear Hockey Players,
Researchers at La Trobe University are seeking volunteer research participants to be involved in a study about injuries sustained in the 2024 winter season. We have created an online survey about hockey training, facilities and injuries sustained during the 2024 winter season (HEC24138). Even if you didn't sustain any injuries in the 2024 season, your responses can help us.
You Are Eligible If
· You were registered to play hockey in Australia for the 2024 winter season
· You are 14+ years old
Participation involves
If you decide to take part in the research, you would be asked to:
· Complete a once off survey about your hockey training, facilities and injuries you may have sustained during the 2024 winter season. The survey may take 10 to 20 minutes.
· If you are under 18, you will need to answer some questions to confirm you have understood the informed consent.
Your decision to participate in research is voluntary.
Reimbursement for participation
There are no additional costs associated with participation in this research study, nor will you be paid. You can elect to enter a draw for one of five $100 JUST HOCKEY vouchers. Complete the survey and prize draw by Monday 14th October 2024 for a chance to win.
