Partner Schools Program

Hockey WA’s Partner School Program is in place for teachers and schools who access multiple hockey initiatives throughout the year. There are Bronze, Silver and Gold Partner School status to achieve. With increased involvement in hockey, comes further benefits and rewards for the participants and schools.

To become a Hockey WA Partner School you are required to:

  1. Have a teacher sign up as a Hockey WA School Ambassador
  2. Contact our Development Officer (Schools) : melissa.gmeiner@hockeywa.org.au

Bronze

Requirements

  • Delivery of one hockey program throughout the year
  • One Hockey WA School Ambassador
  • Submit information regarding hockey participation at school
  • Promote the sport of hockey to the school community.

Benefits

  • Hockey WA Bronze Partner School certificate
  • Acknowledgement on the Hockey WA website
  • Invitations and tickets to matches held at Perth Hockey Stadium
  • Discounted entry into a hockey carnival
    – Middle school (years 7-9) carnival at PHS
    – Local Primary School carnival
    – Hookin2Hockey club hosted carnival
  • Free teacher PD days

Silver

Requirements

  • Delivery of two hockey programs throughout the year
  • Minimum two Hockey WA School Ambassadors
  • Have hockey equipment at school and available for student use
  • Submit information regarding hockey participation at school
  • Promote the sport of hockey to the school community.

  • Hockey WA Silver Partner School certificate
  • Acknowledgement on the Hockey WA website
  • Invitations and tickets to matches held at Perth Hockey Stadium
  • Discounted entry into a hockey carnival
    – Middle school carnival at PHS
    – Local Primary School carnival
    – Hookin2Hockey club hosted carnival
  • Free teacher PD days
  • Visit from a WA Hockey Hero
  • Signed Hockey WA gear by the West Australian state senior teams
  • Discount on Hockey WA programs such as the Young Hockey Leaders Awards

Gold

Requirements

  • MOU signed with Hockey WA
