The Youth International Gryphon Cup (formerly F-H-E Cup and Gryphon Cup) was formed in Western Australia as the nation’s pinnacle international junior hockey tournament and it was historically played as under-16 tournaments for boys and girls at the Perth Hockey Stadium. The Youth Cup has attracted national and state representative teams from within Australia as well as Japan, Singapore and Malaysia. Throughout its history, the Cup has grown in prestige with the number of visiting interstate and overseas teams and associated visitors increasing.

Hockey WA intends for the Youth International Gryphon Cup to build on the enormous success of the 2023 tournament and position itself as Asia's preeminent tournament for youth players to compete, improve and share experiences with fellow aspirant international hockey players.
