2025 International Player Information - Hockey Western Australia

All players who are not Australian citizens (or do not have Permanent Residency) will be classified as an Import Player unless they can satisfy Hockey WA that they have NOT played in the top-level competition in the top 20 countries within the two previous calendar years, as listed in a table in the Competition Bylaws. For the top 5 countries, the player must not have played in the top two levels of competition.

This survey is to register an overseas players' playing history, which will determine the import status of the player for this season. If a player can provide Hockey WA with information showing that the highest level of competition they played in is outside those described above, Hockey WA will not consider them as an Import Player for the current season.

Please fill out the form as accurately as possible, as failure to accurately inform Hockey WA of a players history could result in a team playing an ineligible player and therefore forfeiting games.
